I am a speech and language therapist with over 20 years experience working as  a clinician and a manager in a teaching hospital setting.  In addition, I  am an expert  practitioner  in Head and Neck Cancer.  I have significant experience of working on a Regional Maxillofacial unit where patients are treated for oral and oropharyngeal Cancer. I have also had several years experience working with laryngectomy patients. I am able to instruct patients in  oesophageal speech and Surgical Voice Restoration.  I have also had some experience of working with patients with acquired neurological disorders. I have also  provided input to Critical Care Units, involving working with patients with tracheostomy and patients who are on ventilatory support.
